Returns Policy

1. Scope

This Returns Policy applies to all business customers (“Buyer”, “you”) purchasing products (“Goods”) from Dangerous Goods Supplies Ltd T/A HazStock (“Seller”, “we”, “our”, “us”) via our online store.

This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale and applies exclusively to business-to-business (B2B) transactions within Ireland and the European Union.

It does not apply to consumer sales under EU consumer protection law.

2. Inspection and Notification

You must inspect all Goods immediately upon delivery.

Any claims relating to damage, shortages, or incorrect items must be submitted in writing within 5 working days of receipt. Claims received after this period may not be accepted.

Include your order number, batch number (if applicable), and supporting photos where relevant.

3. Returns of Stock Items

We may, at our discretion, accept returns of stock items provided that:

  • Goods are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging;
  • You have obtained prior Return Authorisation from us; and
  • The Goods are returned within 14 days of delivery.

All items must be packaged securely to avoid damage in transit.

4. Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of up to 20% of the invoiced value may apply to any approved return.

This fee covers inspection, handling, and administrative costs associated with restocking.

5. Defective or Incorrect Goods

If Goods are found to be defective or incorrectly supplied due to our error, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the Goods, or
  • Issue a credit or refund for the affected items.

We may request the return of the items for inspection before processing any replacement or refund.

We will cover reasonable return shipping costs in cases of verified defect or incorrect supply.

We do not accept liability for defects or damage arising from:

  • Improper storage, handling, or use after delivery;
  • Normal wear and tear; or
  • Modifications made to the Goods after delivery.

6. Unauthorised Returns

No Goods will be accepted for return without prior written authorisation.

Unauthorised or unidentifiable returns may be refused and will not be eligible for credit.

7. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect, the Buyer is responsible for:

  • All costs of returning the Goods; and
  • Ensuring the Goods are properly packaged for transport.

We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service for all returns.

8. Refunds and Credits

Approved refunds or credits will be processed within 10 working days of receipt and inspection of the returned Goods.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Compliance and Limitation of Liability

This policy is in accordance with Irish and EU commercial law, including the Sale of Goods Act 1893 (as amended) and relevant EU directives on commercial transactions.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a business customer under applicable Irish or EU law.

10. Governing Law

This Returns Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.

The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts for the resolution of any such disputes.
